Zendaya Glitters in Green at Australian ‘Challengers’ Premiere
Zendaya dazzled on the red carpet at the Australian premiere of her new film ‘Challengers’ in Sydney on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old actress sported a custom Loewe glittery green gown by Jonathan Anderson, paying homage to her character Tashi – a tennis player turned coach.
Roach, Zendaya’s stylist, shared a video of the radiant star posing for photographers on Instagram.
The elegant dress featured a cut-out back, deep V-neckline, and a high thigh split. Moreover, it showcased a print of a figure holding a tennis racket, perfectly aligning with the film’s tennis theme.

A Glamorous Updo and Coordinated Accessories
Zendaya complemented her stunning gown with matching stiletto heels and a glamorous updo that showcased her dangling earrings.
The ‘Euphoria’ star exuded confidence and joy as she posed alongside her co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor.
Faist, known for ‘West Side Story,’ donned an unbuttoned white shirt under a black suit, while O’Conner, famous for portraying Prince Charles in ‘The Crown,’ sported a brown three-piece tux without a shirt.
‘Challengers’: A Tennis-Themed Love Triangle
In ‘Challengers,’ Zendaya’s character Tashi is at the center of an intense love triangle involving her husband, a champion on a losing streak (Faist), and his former best friend and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend (O’Connor), who compete in a tennis tournament.
Directed by Luca Guadagnino, known for ‘Call Me by Your Name,’ the film hits theaters on April 26, 2024.
Zendaya’s Tennis-Inspired Fashion Moments
Zendaya’s tennis-inspired fashion choices extend beyond the ‘Challengers’ premiere.
Earlier this month, she sported a white tennis skirt, vest, and hooded sweater for a tennis date with her boyfriend Tom Holland at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.
In February, Holland shared the ‘Challengers’ trailer on Instagram, writing, “You ain’t ready for this one!”
