Self-transformation has been on the agenda for Blac Chyna for quite some time and from what the world has seen over the last several months, the mother of two has no plans of backing down. Born Angela White, the model and up-and-coming actress has entered into a new transition in her life. Since the beginning of 2023, White has begun to open up about her journey of deep reflection to renovate herself from within. And it’s been beautiful to witness.
Earlier this year, the reality star confirmed that she was going under the knife again – but this time to do something some would not expect.
The 34-year-old D.C. native took to Instagram to share that she was currently preparing to have her breasts and butt reduced as part of a “life-changing journey” she is currently embarking on.
She began the post detailing how doctors were going to remove her “a*s shots” while educating her 16 million followers about the difference between a BBL (Brazilian butt lift) and silicone injections. The latter, she said, is a decision she regrets.
“I just want all the ladies out there to know, do not get silicone shots because you can get sick, you can die, have complications and all this other crazy stuff,” White said, adding that she first got the shots when she was 19.
She further added that she hopes the reduction of her chest and derriere will help take her to the “next level” and wants to change her “ways.”
The social media influencer also revealed that the surgery on her breasts will be the fifth time she’s had work done on them. She also said she wants to retire her long claw-like fingernails because she’s “stepping into a different way.”
Following the procedure, Chyna shared video of her wrapped up in bandages and said that the procedure took nine hours when it was only supposed to take four.
“Whatever that silicone mass, whatever that was that was in my buttocks, it kept clogging the machine and breaking,” she said.
“You all have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that,” she wrote in the caption to the video.
News of the Rob and Chyna star’s procedure comes just months after she was announcing that she was retiring from OnlyFans for the sake of her son, King Cairo, 10, and daughter, Dream, 6.
She added: “At a certain age, [children] see and gravitate to everything.”
Then in a recent Forbes interview, she said that she no longer wants to be referred to as “Blac Chyna” but by her birth name: Angela White.
“[My name] was given to me by birth. Mostly, it’s just me getting back to myself because, you know, being in the entertainment field, everybody always calls me like, ‘Hey, Blac Chyna — Chyna.’”
She continued: “Nobody ever really calls me Angela. So sometimes I would forget who I am because it’s always about the brand, brand, brand, but not about the person.”
Shortly thereafter, fans took to Twitter to support White.
“I’m loving the rebrand of blac chyna, she has my support. I’m here for anyone that wants to be a better them. It’s never too late,” wrote another.
We couldn’t agree more.
