iHeartMedia has officially named comedian Jess Hilarious as the new third co-host of the popular nationally syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club.”
She will be joining hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God every weekday morning.
Baltimore Native Brings Fresh Perspective
After weeks of speculation, Jess Hilarious was formally announced as Angela Yee’s replacement on January 29th. Yee left the show in 2022 to start her own midday program.
The Baltimore-born Hilarious brings a unique comedic perspective to the show. “I’m confident that taking the third seat at The Breakfast Club will show people that Jess Hilarious is not just comedy, but culture,” said Hilarious.
Executives Confident in Decision
iHeartMedia executives strongly believe Jess is the perfect choice to succeed in the role.
“Jess was the standout choice to join Charlamagne and DJ Envy to build upon The Breakfast Club’s legacy of entertaining, informing and enlightening the community,” said programming head Thea Mitchem.
With over 5 million Instagram followers and consistently sold-out shows, Hilarious has carved out her space in comedy. Beyond the jokes, she connects through real, relatable stories about everyday life.
