Missy Elliott Makes History with First-Ever North American Tour
Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott is set to make history as she announces her first-ever headline tour across North America.
The multi-talented artist, known for her extraordinary contributions as a songwriter, rapper, producer, and singer, is gearing up for an unforgettable experience that will take her fans “Out of This World.”
Elliott will not be embarking on this monumental journey alone. She has assembled an impressive lineup of fellow music icons to join her on stage, including Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and her long-time collaborator, Timbaland.
Together, they will deliver a high-octane, nonstop concert experience that promises to be a true spectacle.
Bringing the “Out of This World” Experience to Fans
“This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone ‘firsts,'” shares an elated Elliott. “Being the FIRST female Hip Hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and now going out on my FIRST headline tour. Fans have been asking me to tour forever, but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family!”
The 24-city “Out of This World” tour will kick off on July 4 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, making stops in major cities across North America before concluding on August 22 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
Fans can expect an unforgettable experience as Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland take the stage together for the first time on a headline tour.
Assembling an All-Star Lineup for the “Out of This World” Tour
The tour is being produced by Live Nation, along with Missy’s longtime manager and CEO of Monami Entertainment, Mona Scott-Young.
“Missy has always been an iconic groundbreaker and continuously pushes herself to be bolder and go where she has never been before – and surprisingly, one of those places is headlining her tour!” said Scott-Young.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting this moment, and their patience is about to be rewarded. “We can’t wait to share this experience with the fans!” exclaimed Elliott.
Tickets for the “Out of This World” tour will go on sale to the general public on April 12, with a Verizon presale starting a few days earlier on April 9.
