Single Mother Hits Massive Jackpot
An anonymous Jamaican single mother is starting 2024 USD 644,000 richer after finally claiming a mega lottery prize won last October.
The Supreme Ventures Gaming Limited (SVG) customer told local news she’s “so happy” but is keeping her identity concealed for safety reasons as is common practice for Jamaican jackpot winners.
“I didn’t know how to react when I saw my numbers come up on the draw. It is such an amazing feeling, I’m so happy,” she said. “The first thing I’ll be doing is putting some of the money into an investment account, ‘cause me nah bruk again!”
Prioritizing Children and Financial Future
The lucky mom endured a difficult childhood and vows to secure her children’s future with the life-changing prize money. She will invest portions of the windfall into their education while being able to provide for their every need.
“I had a rough childhood, and I don’t want my children to go through that so they are also my top priority,” she stated. “I’ll make sure their future is good and they don’t have to worry about anything.”
SVG executives welcomed the latest addition to their 2023 lottery jackpot winner list. Last year saw massive sums claimed across five different draws – underscoring the major financial security offered to lucky ticket holders.
2023’s Wave of Mega Winners
The mom’s massive windfall marked the year’s biggest SVG payout yet at USD 644,000. But four other jackpots also massively transformed winners’ lives leading up to it.
Back in February last year, one winner took home USD 405,000 in prize money. That was followed by a USD 289,000 triumph in March and a USD 315,000 collection in May. Another unclaimed USD 225,000 jackpot also remained on the table from a separate May 2023 draw.
