“This woman @gabby3shabby right here is such a trooper – so excited the twins get to have a Mom that is so loving, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful,” he wrote on March 1. Alongside the sweet message were glowing photos of Sidibe cradling her baby bump.
Frankel admitted keeping the twin news under wraps was tough: “It was so hard keeping this quiet for so long – can not wait to be a TWIN DAD!”
Frankel’s Unique Tributes Display Deep Admiration
The first-time father has showered Sidibe with affection throughout her pregnancy journey. On February 20, she revealed he wears a replica of her ear as a necklace charm – a touching ode to features he adores.
“Completely without irony or shame, my husband wears a replica of my actual ear on a chain around his neck. He loves my ears and thinks they’re so cute. @brandontour is the best thing I found on the internet,” Sidibe wrote.
The Empire star announced her twin pregnancy on February 27 with a cheeky cat photo: “We’re giving them each a baby to take care of!”
High School Sweethearts’ Blossoming Family
Sidibe and Frankel’s love story began as high school sweethearts in Brooklyn, though they lost touch after graduation. They reunited as adults, with Frankel popping the question in 2020.
Just under two years into their marriage, the couple’s family is already doubling in size. Frankel can hardly contain his excitement to meet their twins, who are already “so incredibly loved.”
