In 2021, she left her corporate job as a resource manager at Amazon, where she earned a six-figure salary of $124,000 annually, to pursue her passion on YouTube.
Her bold move has proved to be a resounding success. McCall now rakes in an impressive $105,000 per month as a content creator, and she achieves this remarkable income while working just two hours a day.
“Walking away from the stability of a 9-to-5 job can be scary when you don’t know what’s on the other side. But choosing this life has been a bigger blessing than we ever could have imagined,” she said.
Humble Beginnings as a Side Hustle
McCall’s journey to YouTube stardom began as a side hustle while she was still working at Amazon. She initially started creating content about personal finance, sharing tips and strategies for improving one’s financial well-being.
It was a video she posted revealing how she boosted her credit score from 495 to 820 by fixing errors on her credit report that caught the attention of viewers and went viral. Six months after this video’s success, McCall took the plunge and quit her corporate job to focus on her side hustle full-time.
A Family Affair
McCall’s husband, Jay, was inspired by her success and later joined her after leaving his software engineering job. Now, the power couple collaborates as a team, raking in over $100,000 per month, primarily from digital products and YouTube ad revenue.
Balancing Passion and Parenthood
One of the most remarkable aspects of McCall’s success is her ability to maintain a healthy work-life balance. After her morning self-care routine and quality time with her husband and 2-year-old son, she dedicates just two hours to work.
McCall has a well-structured weekly schedule. Mondays and Tuesdays are dedicated to creating YouTube content, while Wednesdays and Thursdays are reserved for partnership content and strategy sessions with brands. Fridays are set aside for publicity and press activities.
By adhering to this schedule, McCall ensures that she wraps up her work by 1 pm, allowing her to spend the rest of the day with her family. She even implements a “no phones” rule during this quality time, enabling her to be fully present with her loved ones.

McCall’s success has not only brought financial freedom but has also allowed her to be present for her son’s formative years, thanks to the support of a trustworthy nanny. Additionally, her parents have been able to retire early due to the blessings of her YouTube success.
