Actress Tika Sumpter commanded attention with her head-turning fashion at the Los Angeles premiere of her new sports comedy film “Underdoggs.” Produced by Snoop Dogg, the movie hits Amazon Prime Video on January 26th with Sumpter starring as a childhood version of classic video game character Sonic the Hedgehog.
Walking the red carpet alongside co-stars like Snoop Dogg, Omarion, KaMillion and others, the 43-year-old brought glamour and style reminiscent of a high-fashion magazine editorial.

Sumpter dazzled in a $4,320 peach silk dress with handstitched butterflies from Lebanese designer Jean-Louis Sabaji’s 2024 collection, paired with the brand’s $2,720 matching long-sleeve blazer.

Celebrity stylist Bryon Javar has been helping Sumpter make major fashion statements during her “Underdoggs” press tour. Prior to the premiere, she wowed in two standout looks from Black designers.
A hot pink suit from Harbison Studio showed off the star’s glowing complexion and legs, with a playful high-waisted skirt and bold gold buttons. Sumpter then went edgy in an oversized blazer, bandeau top and skirt combo exuding “cool girl” appeal.
