Lordina Nancy’s mother, Aminu Yahaya, has seen a boost in business thanks to her daughter’s viral fame. “Because of my daughter, plenty people come here,” Yahaya told BBC Pidgin. “They see us on social media and want to come to us.”
The young girl serves as her mother’s apprentice, often wearing her school dress with barrettes in her hair while working. We no teach her, she just start all by herself.”
