Beyoncé has added a new date to her highly anticipated ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ amid reports of strong ticket sales. The superstar will perform at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on July 25, bringing her total tour dates to 31 across nine cities. This addition comes as Live Nation confirms the tour has already reached 94% capacity across all dates, silencing rumors about slow ticket sales.
The Las Vegas show marks Beyoncé’s return to Allegiant Stadium after her previous performances there during the Renaissance World Tour in 2023. Various presales for the new date begin on March 20, with general ticket sales opening on March 25. The tour, which kicks off in April 2025, follows the success of her Grammy-winning album “Cowboy Carter.”
Tour Expansion Shows Overwhelming Fan Demand
The ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ was initially announced on February 3 with 22 shows planned across eight cities. Since then, strong demand has prompted the addition of multiple dates in six of those eight markets. Atlanta and London each received two additional shows based on fan interest.
Live Nation reports that the tour has already reached 94% capacity with six weeks still remaining until opening night. This impressive sales figure contradicts earlier rumors about poor ticket performance. The addition of the Las Vegas date further demonstrates the tour’s commercial strength.
Impressive Sales Projections Surpass $325 Million
Billboard initially projected the tour would earn approximately $294 million from 1.1-1.2 million tickets sold. However, with the added Las Vegas date and strong early sales, industry experts now predict the tour will exceed $325 million in total revenue.
The robust ticket sales build on Beyoncé’s previous success with the Renaissance World Tour in 2023, which featured 56 shows worldwide. The current tour supports her latest album “Cowboy Carter,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart last April and earned three Grammy awards, including Album of the Year.
Multiple Presale Options Available for Las Vegas Show
Fans hoping to attend the newly announced Las Vegas concert have several presale opportunities. The BeyHive presale begins March 20 at 12 p.m. local time and runs until March 23 at 10 p.m. This will be followed by an artist presale from March 24 at 12 p.m. to March 25 at 11 a.m.
Additional presale options include Citi card member and Verizon Access presales, which start on March 21 at 12 p.m. and end on March 23 at 10 p.m. local time. A Mastercard presale will also be available before general ticket sales begin on March 25.
Extensive Tour Schedule Spans Both North America and Europe
The ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ will kick off with five consecutive shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. From there, Beyoncé will perform in Chicago, East Rutherford, London, Paris, Houston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and now Las Vegas.
The European leg includes six shows at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and three performances at Stade de France in Paris. Beyoncé will also play two special hometown shows at Houston’s NRG Stadium. The tour represents her first major concert series since the highly successful Renaissance World Tour.
Grammy-Winning Album Continues to Build Momentum
“Cowboy Carter” has been a critical and commercial success since its release. The album won three Grammy awards, extending Beyoncé’s record-breaking career total. Her wins included Album of the Year and Best Country Album, highlighting the project’s cross-genre appeal.
Fans got their first taste of live performances from the album during Beyoncé’s Christmas Day NFL halftime show on Netflix. This special event teased the upcoming tour announcement and showcased the album’s unique blend of country and other musical influences.
