Black Enterprise delivered another landmark moment for Black women in leadership this week. The 20th Annual Women of Power Summit wrapped up at the iconic Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing together over 1,500 Black women executives, entrepreneurs, and visionaries for a week packed with purpose, power, and community.
Black Enterprise’s Women of Power Summit Celebrates 20 Years of Impact
Two decades is a long time to sustain a movement — and yet, with each passing year, the Women of Power Summit only grows more significant. Since its debut, the summit has served as one of the most important gathering spaces for Black women in business and leadership, offering a rare environment where ambition, strategy, and sisterhood occupy the same room.
The 2026 edition, held at the Bellagio Resort & Casino, set the tone from day one. Attendees arrived not just as participants but as contributors — bringing their expertise, their stories, and their networks into a space specifically designed to reflect their power back to them. For many, the summit is more than a conference. It is an annual homecoming.
Furthermore, the milestone of 20 years adds a layer of meaning that resonated throughout every session and hallway conversation. This was not just another summit. It was a celebration of how far Black women in business have come — and a clear declaration that the work is far from over.
Powerhouse Programming at the 2026 Women of Power Summit
The week’s programming left little room for anything less than full engagement. Wellness, workshops, panels, coaching sessions, and networking opportunities were woven together to create an experience that addressed Black women leaders in their entirety — not just as professionals, but as whole people.
Meagan Good brought high energy to the wellness space, leading an impressive workout session that blended movement with motivation. Meanwhile, Iyanla Vanzant delivered the kind of wisdom-packed moments attendees travel for, dropping insight that resonated well beyond the room. Together, those two sessions alone captured what the summit does best — feeding both the body and the mind.
The programming also created space for honest conversations about the realities of leadership, entrepreneurship, and navigating spaces that were not originally built with Black women in mind. That combination of practical tools and emotional nourishment is what keeps attendees returning year after year.
Luminary Honorees Shine at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit 2026
Among the most celebrated moments of the summit were the recognitions given to this year’s luminary honorees. Jotaka Eaddy, Bozoma Saint John, and Angela Rye were each honored for their extraordinary contributions to their respective fields and to the broader advancement of Black women in public life.
Jotaka Eaddy has long been a force in civil rights and advocacy. Bozoma Saint John, widely recognized as one of the most influential marketing executives in the world, brings both cultural fluency and corporate authority to every space she enters. Angela Rye, a political strategist and media personality, has built a reputation for speaking truth without apology. Seeing all three recognized on the same stage was a powerful moment.
Honoring leaders of this caliber sends a clear message to every attendee: excellence is not the exception among Black women. It is the standard.
Networking and Community at the Heart of the Women of Power Experience
Beyond the panels and keynotes, the summit’s networking opportunities proved just as transformative. With over 1,500 attendees sharing space at one of Las Vegas’s most prestigious properties, the potential for meaningful connection was built into every moment — from formal sessions to late-night celebrations with like-minded peers.
That social dimension of the summit is by design. Black Enterprise has always understood that for Black women in business, who you know and who knows you can be just as powerful as any skill set or credential. The summit creates the conditions for those relationships to form organically and intentionally.
As the 20th annual edition closes its doors, the energy it has generated will carry forward. Attendees leave not just with new contacts and fresh ideas, but with a renewed sense of what is possible — which, ultimately, is exactly what the Women of Power Summit was built to do.
